Liftique’s flagship office in Newport Beach was bustling with lots of smiling faces during their Beauty Breakthrough event on January 11th. It was a packed house and everyone was looking forward to hearing all about the different non-surgical medical procedures they have to offer. That and of course who was going to win all of their amazing raffle items. Spoiler alert….I actually won 30 free units of Botox!!!! The event was kicked off by the lovely owner Meryl Kern. She shared her own very personal story and why starting Liftique is so important to her and for other women to look and feel their best; even when they might not on the inside.
The center’s chief medical director Dr Michael Hakimi spoke about how the Liftique procedures use Radio Frequency energy to lift, firm and tighten the skin. The procedure contracts the Collagen thermally with heat at a very safe temperature, shrinking the Collagen. Thus developing better Collagen and better Elastin, which translates into tighter skin. The center also provides Botox, HydraFacials and Clear & Brilliant treatments. They also offer different monthly membership levels, of which some of them even include the Botox and HydraFacials too! Talk about having glowing tight skin year round
I was lucky enough to get to try the Clear & Brilliant laser skin treatment on my face. This type of treatment is supposed to treat fine lines, minimize large pores and improve the texture of the skin. After my quick consultation, they put numbing cream all over my face. That had to stay on for a good 30 minutes to really numb me up. Then they lay you down on a comfortable table and they go to work on your face with the Clear & Briliant laser technology. I felt nothing, it didn’t hurt at all and I was completely comfortable throughout the 20 minute procedure. Afterwards they put the most luxurious peptide cooling mask on face, which I had to drive home in. That was a little tricky to say the least. I kept the mask on for another 20 min and then I had to stay indoors for the next 24 hours. My face is a little red and feels like I have minor wind burn from a day on the slopes. I can’t wait to see what my skin will look like in the coming days!
