Girls Trip to Scottsdale, Arizona - South OC Moms

If you’re planning a girls’ trip and want sunshine, scenery, and just the right mix of fun and relaxation, Scottsdale, Arizona delivers in a big way. Whether you’re into delicious brunch spots, pool parties, dancing at clubs, catching live music at casual venues, or hiking through stunning desert landscapes, there’s something for everyone.

We stayed in Old Town Scottsdale which was so fun and convenient! Everywhere we wanted to be — restaurants, shops, nightlife — was just a short walk away. Here are some hotels to check out:

The Monarch Hotel is a trendy boutique spot located right in Old Town’s Entertainment District. It features two pools—one calm and relaxing, and another with weekend DJs, cabanas, and a lively vibe, perfect for a festive getaway.

Hotel Valley Ho is a mid-century modern classic that combines vintage charm with modern amenities. It’s just a short walk to downtown and has two pool areas, making it great for both relaxing and socializing.

The Scott Resort & Spa offers a luxurious escape with Havana-inspired decor, lush landscaping, and beautifully designed pools. It’s also close to shops, restaurants, and nightlife in Old Town.

Canopy by Hilton Scottsdale Old Town is a sleek, contemporary hotel with a stunning rooftop pool and bar offering views of the city. The vibe is youthful, clean, and ideal for a stylish stay with friends.

Senna House Hotel Scottsdale is one of the newer options in Old Town, featuring a rooftop pool, modern rooms, and CALA, a lively restaurant and bar that’s perfect for pre-dinner drinks or brunch the next day.

We spent our days in the sun with a good mix of relaxing by the pool and jumping into the party scene. The March weather was perfect, and Scottsdale made it easy to go from lounging in the morning to dancing in the afternoon. We started our first night with the Arizona Party Bike tour—pedaling through downtown, stopping at bars along the way, and playing our favorite songs. It was a fun way to see the city and scope out everything we wanted to do while we were there,

Scottsdale has no shortage of amazing spots to eat, and we definitely took advantage throughout the weekend. We loved our brunch at RnR Gastropub and dinner at Barrio Queen!

The nightlife in Scottsdale is full of variety, and we explored both ends of the spectrum. One night we got dressed up for bottle service at the lively club Riot House, and another evening we enjoyed live music at Wasted Grain, a more casual venue that gave us the chance to sing along and let loose. Both spots were memorable and offered something different for our group.

To round out the trip, we took advantage of Scottsdale’s natural beauty with a desert hike at McDowell Sonoran Preserve. The peaceful setting and incredible views were a perfect way to reset before heading home.

Scottsdale gave us a little bit of everything- this trip was the perfect mix of adventure, scenic beauty. night life. downtime, laughter, and girl time.
