If the forecast calls for rain, I highly suggest you bundle up the kids and take them down to the Dana Point Harbor to check out the Dana Point Waterfall. The waterfall is only visible after a big rain storm or while it is currently raining. It is a perfect way to get the kids out of the house for a little bit of fun during a rainy day.
The waterfall when running is located in the Dana Point Harbor, right on Dana Point Harbor Drive, just behind Baby Beach. As you are driving along towards Baby Beach, keep a look out to right side of your car. You will see cascading cliffs to your right and a few palm trees. If the waterfall is running you will be able to see it from your car. Park along side the road and let the kids get out to catch a glimpse of the Dana Point Waterfall.
