Who is ready to fall in love all over again with Mikey and Friends? This August Disney Junior is debuting an all new Mickey Mouse Funhouse for preschoolers. Introduce your littles ones to Mickey Mouse and his amazing friends. But this time there is also an enchanted talking playhouse, ready to take your child on a whimsical adventure through unique worlds like sunny Gulch and Underwater Ocean World.
The new show is geared towards kids 2 – 5, with a curriculum that hopes to nurture multiple areas of child development like: physical, emotional, social & cognitive, thinking & creative skills, as well as moral and ethical development. Each episode will feature two 11 minute stories, with a dance break in between the two stories. And we all know how amazing Disney is with songs, their midway dance break music is sure to get kids moving, grooving and stretching with their favorite Disney characters.
We were lucky enough to get to kick off the magic of Mickey Mouse Funhouse by building a gingerbread funhouse of our own. My daughters got to decorate the Funhouse with candy, sprinkles and lots of icing. We even got to watch a sneak peak of the first episode “Mickey the Brave.” My daughters loved it and can’t wait to watch the remaining episodes when the show debuts on August 20, 2021 (8:00 a.m. ET/PT) on Disney Channel and Disney Junior.
