Aliso Viejo –

July 4, 2023, 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM @Grand Park in Aliso Viejo – 26901 Aliso Creek Rd, Aliso Viejo

Kick off your 4th of July with your neighbors, community partners, and the City of Aliso Viejo. Community Booths – Children’s Crafts – Face Painting – Balloon Twisters – Airbrush Tattoo Artists – Carnival Games Low-level fireworks show will start at approximately 9:00 p.m. Grand Avenue will be closed from City Lights Drive to Vantis on the day of the event from 5:00 a.m. – 11:30 p.m. for ALL traffic – this includes bikes, cars and pedestrians. You will not be allowed to save a spot until 6:00 a.m. on Monday, July 4, 2022 when the park opens. AVCA will have security patrolling the park premises. If you plan to come to the park early to save your space, please note that ONLY blankets and low-level chairs are allowed.

 

Dana Point –

July 4, 2022, 5:55pm to 6:00 PM Join us for the 4th of July Condor Squadron Flyover  off the coast of Doheny State Beach

July 4, 2022, 9:00 PM The fireworks are shot from a barge on the water, located off the coastline of Doheny State Beach.  For more information call the City of Dana Point Recreation Division at 949-248-3536 or email [email protected]

July 4, 2022, ALL DAY Bring your super soakers and water sprayers, paddleboards or dinghys plush chairs and towels to set up on the beach. Join in the biggest water fight in town all day in the Dana Point Harbor.

Ladera Ranch –

July 4, 2023, 4:00 – 9:00 PM, Founders Park, 28275 Avendale Blvd, Ladera Ranch

Ladera is known for one of the best fireworks displays in South Orange County, LARCS will present a fun-filled day of activities. Activity wristbands are only required for children who participate in the activities. Beginning Monday, June 5, Activity Wristbands will be available for purchase for residents at $10 each. There are no in-person sales available all purchases must be through LaderaLife.com. This price will be available through 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, after which they will be $18 at the event (Credit Card Only, this is a cashless event).

Laguna Beach

July 4, 2023, 9:00 PM,  Heisler Park

The City fireworks show will originate from Monument Point at Heisler Park. For this reason, the Monument Point area will be closed all day on the 4th of July. Beginning at approximately 5pm, the area of Heisler Park from the Rock Bench at Myrtle Street to the Rockpile Beach stairs at Jasmine Street will be closed to the public to allow for fireworks preparation.

 

Laguna Hills –

July 4, 2023, 4:00 – 9:00 PM, Laguna Hills Community Center 25555 Alicia Pkwy., Laguna Hills

Come celebrate America’s birthday at the City of Laguna Hills’ annual Fourth of July Celebration! Bring your family and friends to enjoy carnival rides and games, live band, food trucks, along with a firework show! Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Bounce house and games are free. Carnival rides are $2.00 each. Don’t forget your blankets and chairs.

 

Laguna Niguel –

July 4th, 2023,  Crown Valley Community Park, Laguna Niguel Reginal Park

Activities: A 4th of July flyover at 5:30 PM features six acrobatic airplanes with smoke will loop around Laguna Niguel over Crown Valley Parkway from the 5 FWY to PCH and over city hall.

July 4 – 8:00am & 9:00am kids run. The 44th Run in the Park. This family and pet-friendly annual event brings the Laguna Niguel and surrounding communities together to celebrate the 4th of July, engage in a healthy activity, and supports other. Register here.
July 4 – 7:30-10:30am 37th Annual Pancake Breakfast. Located at the Crown Valley Park, lower soccer fields. Cost is $7 per person 2 pancake, sausage and juice.
July 4 – 1:00-4:00pm Patriotic Pool Party at the Laguna Niguel Aquatics Center. No reservations required.
July 4 – 6:00 – 8:00pm Summer Concert: Elton John Experience
July 4 – 9:00pm Don’t miss the beautiful fireworks display. Fireworks will begin promptly at 9pm at the Laguna Niguel Reginal Park, over the lake. Note, there will be a fireworks viewing spot this year for an additional fee of $20 per person and reservations are require. Book them here

 

Lake Forest

Fourth of July Parade and Fireworks Show

July 4th, 10:00AM, El Toro High School
Parade starts at the corner of Toledo Way and Ridge Route Drive (in front of El Toro High School) and ends on Serrano Road before Ridge Route. No Firework show in Lake Forest.

 

Mission Viejo

July 4, 2023, Noon – 9:30pm – The Mission Viejo City Faire, Olympiad between Marguerite and Melinda

The Mission Viejo Activities Committee invite you to the Annual Street Faire and Fireworks Spectacular! Enjoy live entertainment on the Main Stage and DJ’s at the Fun Zone Area. There will be rides for the kids, food and game Booths operated by local service groups. There will also be over 30 booths with wonderful craft and gift ideas. The sky will sparkle at 9pm for the fireworks spectacular.

 

Rancho Santa Margarita

July 4, 2023, 9:00pm – Star Spangled Spectacular Fireworks Display at Lago Santa Margarita Beach Club and Lakeshore Park: 21472 Avenida De Los Fundadores
SAMLARC is excited to provide fireworks display for Members! Scheduled to begin at 9 PM, the show will open with special a capella performances by the winners of this year’s Voice of SAMLARC Singing Competition, then fireworks will illuminate the night sky with dazzling colors!

July 4, 2023, 10:00am – Patriotic Bike Parade:Decorate your bikes, trikes, scooters, pets, and more with patriotic flair and join us for a parade at the Lake! Led by Uncle Sam himself, the parade will begin at the Beach Club and wind its way along the Lakeshore to the Lakeshore Amphitheater, where ice cold popsicles will be waiting for participants to enjoy!

July 4, 2023, All Day – Enjoy the 4th at the Lago Santa Margarita. Enjoy music, games, and fun in the sun at the Lagoon! Members are invited to spend the day with family and friends. The Beach Club Bistro will offer delicious food for purchase and community BBQs will be available for use. Water trikes, pedal boats, and kayaks will be available to rent!  A DJ will host games throughout the afternoon, guests will enjoy acapella performances from the winners of this year’s Voice of SAMLARC singing competition and end the night with a fireworks display!

 

San Juan Capistrano

San Clemente

July 4, 2023, 9:00/9:20 PM, San Clemente Municipal Pier, 622 Avenida del Mar, San Clemente

The City of San Clemente will facilitate a vibrant fireworks show at the San Clemente Municipal Pier from 9 to 9:20pm. Note, the entire pier (excluding The Fisherman’s Restaurant) will close on Monday, July 4th at 7:30 a.m. and remain closed for the entire day.

Fourth of July Office Chair Downhill Derby – July 4, 2023, 9:00 AM, 615 Avenida Victoria, San Clemente. The chair race also known as the “Half Mile of Horror,” takes place annually on Independence Day. Participants race down a designated course on office chairs, showcasing their speed, agility, and creativity. Spectators gather to cheer on the participants as they navigate through twists, turns, and obstacles, creating a thrilling and entertaining experience for everyone involved.
