Games and activities will include a bungee, giant slides, the Wizzer, rock wall, Orbitron, zip line, race game trailer, face painting, artists, and carnival games. Fireworks at 9PM. Laguna Beach –
July 4, 2024, 9:00 PM, Heisler Park
The City drone show begins at 9:00 p.m. from Monument Point in Heisler Park on Thursday, July 4. Large crowds are anticipated for the July 4th holiday and the City is requesting the public’s cooperation to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for residents and visitors. Beginning at approximately 5pm, the area of Heisler Park from the Rock Bench at Myrtle Street to the Rockpile Beach stairs at Jasmine Street will be closed to the public to allow for fireworks preparation.
Laguna Hills –

Come celebrate America’s birthday at the City of Laguna Hills’ annual Fourth of July Celebration! Bring your family and friends to enjoy carnival rides and games, live band, food trucks, along with a fabulous fireworks show to conclude the evening. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Bounce house and games are free. Carnival rides are $2.00 each. Seating is not provided, so don’t forget your blankets and chairs.

Activities: A 4th of July flyover at 5:30 PM features six acrobatic airplanes with smoke will loop around Laguna Niguel over Crown Valley Parkway from the 5 FWY to PCH and over city hall.

Fourth of July Parade and Fireworks Show
July 4th, 9:30AM, El Toro High School
4th of July Parade – “Family + Fun + Freedom” Parking is at shopping center on El Toro Road and Serrano Road, at the Ralphs shopping center, and at Rancho Canada Elementary School. The Kiwanis will serve a pancake breakfast at 7AM in front of the high school, and the El Toro Chargers 5K run/walk begins at 7:00AM at the corner of Lake Forest and Chinook.
Mission Viejo –

The Mission Viejo Activities Committee invite you to the Annual Street Faire and Fireworks Spectacular! - 6:00 AM | Picnic Blanket Placement | Save your spot for the July 5th fireworks show! Blankets can be placed around the Lake as early as 6 AM on July 4th. Items placed earlier than 6 AM on July 4th will be removed and held at the Beach Club for pick-up on July 6th.
- 10:00 AM | Patriotic Bike & Trike Parade around the Lake! Dress up in your patriotic best and bring your bikes, trikes, and pets to the Lake! Meet at the Beach Club for an Independence Day cavalcade that ends at the Amphitheatre, where ice cold rocket pops will be waiting!
- 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM | Beach Club Fun, including DJ music, community grills, concessions, watercraft (12:00 PM – 5:00 PM), lawn games, and – of course – the gorgeous Beach Club Lagoon! On July 4th, access to the Beach Club is first-come, first-served based on facility capacity (no wristbands required). The Beach Club will be open from 8 AM to 7 PM.
- All Day Long | Take a leisurely stroll by the Lake, and while you’re enjoying the weather, bring a picnic blanket to scope out your spot for watching fireworks on July 5th!

- Access to the Beach Club is limited to authorized Members with wristbands only. Register for the wristband lottery online on June 6th through June 7th.
- The Beach Club gates will lock at 8:45 PM per Fire Authority restrictions and the facility closes at 9:30 PM after the fireworks show.
- 5:00 – 8:00 PM | Lakeshore Fun, featuring live music at the Amphitheatre, photo opps, a balloon twister, food trucks, DJ music, and glitter art tattoos!

The City of San Clemente will facilitate a vibrant fireworks show at the San Clemente Municipal Pier from 9 to 9:20pm. Note, the entire pier (excluding The Fisherman’s Restaurant) will close on Monday, July 4th at 7:30 a.m. and remain closed for the entire day.
Fourth of July Office Chair Downhill Derby – July 4, 2024, 9:00 AM, 615 Avenida Victoria, San Clemente. The chair race also known as the “Half Mile of Horror,” takes place annually on Independence Day. Participants race down a designated course on office chairs, showcasing their speed, agility, and creativity. Spectators gather to cheer on the participants as they navigate through twists, turns, and obstacles, creating a thrilling and entertaining experience for everyone involved.
