Aliso Viejo –

July 4, 2024, 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM Aliso Viejo Ranch – 100 Park Avenue

Kick off your Independence Day with the community parade at 9AM, followed by a free community festival with games, a rock wall, DJ and Gamemaster, giant slide, and face painting.

July 4, 2024, 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM @Grand Park in Aliso Viejo – 26901 Aliso Creek Rd, Aliso Viejo

Experience the annual 4th of July Celebration and fireworks. Features face painting, community booths, create-a-card, and carnival games. Low-level fireworks show will start at approximately 9:00 p.m.. If you plan to come to the park early to save your space, please note that ONLY blankets and low-level chairs are allowed.


Dana Point –

July 4, 2024, 5:55pm to 6:00 PM Join us for the 4th of July Condor Squadron Flyover  off the coast of Doheny State Beach

July 4, 2024, 9:00 PM The fireworks are shot from a barge on the water, located off the coastline of Doheny State Beach.  For more information call the City of Dana Point Recreation Division at 949-248-3536 or email [email protected]

July 4, 2024, ALL DAY  Bring your super soakers and water sprayers, paddleboards or dinghys plush chairs and towels to set up on the beach. Join in the biggest water fight in town.


Ladera Ranch –

July 4, 2024, 3:00 – 9:00 PM, Founders Park, 28275 Avendale Blvd, Ladera Ranch

Games and activities will include a bungee, giant slides, the Wizzer, rock wall, Orbitron, zip line, race game trailer, face painting, artists, and carnival games. Fireworks at 9PM. Prior to the celebration, additional activities will include a Freedom Run on the Ranch, Community Parade and a Cupcake Bake-off.


Laguna Beach

July 4, 2024, 9:00 PM,  Heisler Park

The City drone show begins at 9:00 p.m. from Monument Point in Heisler Park on Thursday, July 4. Large crowds are anticipated for the July 4th holiday and the City is requesting the public’s cooperation to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for residents and visitors. Beginning at approximately 5pm, the area of Heisler Park from the Rock Bench at Myrtle Street to the Rockpile Beach stairs at Jasmine Street will be closed to the public to allow for fireworks preparation.


Laguna Hills –

July 4, 2024, 4:00 – 9:00 PM, Laguna Hills Community Center 25555 Alicia Pkwy., Laguna Hills

Come celebrate America’s birthday at the City of Laguna Hills’ annual Fourth of July Celebration! Bring your family and friends to enjoy carnival rides and games, live band, food trucks, along with a fabulous fireworks show to conclude the evening. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Bounce house and games are free. Carnival rides are $2.00 each. Seating is not provided, so don’t forget your blankets and chairs.


Laguna Niguel –

July 4th, 2024,  Crown Valley Community Park, Laguna Niguel Reginal Park

Activities: A 4th of July flyover at 5:30 PM features six acrobatic airplanes with smoke will loop around Laguna Niguel over Crown Valley Parkway from the 5 FWY to PCH and over city hall.

July 4 – 8:00am & 9:00am kids run. The 44th Run in the Park. This family and pet-friendly annual event brings the Laguna Niguel and surrounding communities together to celebrate the 4th of July, engage in a healthy activity, and supports other. Register here.
July 4 – 7:30-10:30am 37th Annual Pancake Breakfast. Located at the Crown Valley Park, lower soccer fields. Cost is $7 per person 2 pancake, sausage and juice.
July 4 – 1:00-4:00pm Patriotic Pool Party at the Laguna Niguel Aquatics Center. No reservations required.
July 4 – 6:00 – 8:00pm Summer Concert: The Suffragates
July 4 – 9:00pm Don’t miss the beautiful fireworks display. Fireworks will begin promptly at 9pm at the Laguna Niguel Reginal Park, over the lake. Note, there will be a fireworks viewing spot this year for an additional fee of $20 per person and reservations are require. Book them here


Lake Forest

Fourth of July Parade and Fireworks Show

July 4th, 9:30AM, El Toro High School

4th of July Parade – “Family + Fun + Freedom” Parking is at shopping center on El Toro Road and Serrano Road, at the Ralphs shopping center, and at Rancho Canada Elementary School. The Kiwanis will serve a pancake breakfast at 7AM in front of the high school, and the El Toro Chargers 5K run/walk begins at 7:00AM at the corner of Lake Forest and Chinook.


Mission Viejo

July 4, 2024, Noon – 9:00pm – The Mission Viejo City Faire, Olympiad between Marguerite and Melinda

The Mission Viejo Activities Committee invite you to the Annual Street Faire and Fireworks Spectacular! The street faire begins at Noon and includes food, live entertainment, games, vendor booths, and family fun. Plus, fireworks will begin at 9:00 p.m. The sky will sparkle at 9pm for the fireworks spectacular.


Rancho Santa Margarita

July 4, 2024, 6:00pm – 6:00pm Star Spangled Spectacular Display for 2 Days at Lago Santa Margarita Beach Club and Lakeshore Park: 21472 Avenida De Los Fundadores

  • 6:00 AM | Picnic Blanket Placement | Save your spot for the July 5th fireworks show! Blankets can be placed around the Lake as early as 6 AM on July 4th. Items placed earlier than 6 AM on July 4th will be removed and held at the Beach Club for pick-up on July 6th.
  • 10:00 AM | Patriotic Bike & Trike Parade around the Lake! Dress up in your patriotic best and bring your bikes, trikes, and pets to the Lake! Meet at the Beach Club for an Independence Day cavalcade that ends at the Amphitheatre, where ice cold rocket pops will be waiting!
  • 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM | Beach Club Fun, including DJ music, community grills, concessions, watercraft (12:00 PM – 5:00 PM), lawn games, and – of course – the gorgeous Beach Club Lagoon! On July 4th, access to the Beach Club is first-come, first-served based on facility capacity (no wristbands required). The Beach Club will be open from 8 AM to 7 PM.
  • All Day Long | Take a leisurely stroll by the Lake, and while you’re enjoying the weather, bring a picnic blanket to scope out your spot for watching fireworks on July 5th!


July 5, 2024, 11:00am – 9:00pm

  • 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM | Exclusive Beach Club Access – enjoy an afternoon at the Lagoon complete with DJ music, community grills, watercraft (12:00 PM – 5:00 PM), a balloon twister, games, and plenty of sun and sand! The Beach Club will open at 11:00 AM and activities begin at 3:00 PM
  • 5:00 – 8:00 PM | Lakeshore Fun, featuring live music at the Amphitheatre, photo opps, a balloon twister, food trucks, DJ music, and glitter art tattoos!
  • 8:50 PM | Voice of SAMLARC Performance – marvel at the musical might of local SAMLARC talent! The winners of the annual Voice of SAMLARC singing contest will perform a capella renditions of America’s favorite patriotic tunes.
  • 9:00 PM | Keep your eyes to the sky and watch fireworks soar above the Lago Santa Margarita! Celebrate the end of a two-day, patriotic extravaganza in classic Independence Day style with friends, family, and fantastic fireworks display. Note that blankets can be placed around the Lake as early as 6:00 AM on July 4th


San Juan Capistrano

2024 Fourth of July Festivities – San Juan Capistrano Marco Forster Intermediate School at 25601 Camino Del Avion. This year’s family-friendly celebration will feature live music, food, games and activities, and a spectacular fireworks display

July 4 – 2:00 – 9:30pm Festivities begin at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 4, with live music beginning at 2:30 p.m. featuring Flashback Heart Attack (80’s Hits), followed by Family Style (Blues, Soul, and Rock n’ Roll) at 4:30 p.m. and the community favorite Tijuana Dogs (Classic Rock and Dance) closing the show. In addition to the live entertainment, activities will include face painting, a mechanical car ride, multiple bounce houses, several midway-type games, and food trucks..
July 4 – 9:00pm July 4th Fireworks at the San Juan Capistrano Marco Forster Intermediate School at 25601 Camino Del Avion.


San Clemente

July 4, 2024, 9:00/9:20 PM Fireworks,  San Clemente Municipal Pier, 622 Avenida del Mar, San Clemente

The City of San Clemente will facilitate a vibrant fireworks show at the San Clemente Municipal Pier from 9 to 9:20pm. Note, the entire pier (excluding The Fisherman’s Restaurant) will close on Monday, July 4th at 7:30 a.m. and remain closed for the entire day.

Fourth of July Office Chair Downhill Derby – July 4, 2024, 9:00 AM, 615 Avenida Victoria, San Clemente. The chair race also known as the “Half Mile of Horror,” takes place annually on Independence Day. Participants race down a designated course on office chairs, showcasing their speed, agility, and creativity. Spectators gather to cheer on the participants as they navigate through twists, turns, and obstacles, creating a thrilling and entertaining experience for everyone involved.
